The table was a collaborative effort, it was designed for a collectible design exhibition, with the theme ‘aftermath’. The exhibition was intended to resemble the morning after a dinner party. We wanted to relate the table to a stage, the way trusses act as architecture supporting props and actors. For the table to function as a spine, connecting all pieces of design together, without intruding upon them.
